Jennifer Ryan completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Jen has worked as a psychologist in private, educational and government settings including Pymble Ladies College, Pacific Hills Christian School, Hills Health Centre and Family Challenge Psychology Clinic over the past nine years. She successfully treats clients who present with a range of psychological disorders and difficulties.
As a clinical psychologist, Jen works from a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) framework and has a strong commitment to evidence-based practice. Jen is dedicated to equipping people with tools to manage mental health difficulties and the issues that life sometimes presents. She has a warm and positive interaction style, loves her job and has enormous respect for people who seek support when they need it. Jen is an enthusiastic speaker who enjoys educating and empowering others through psychological training. Jen has a special interest in treating anxiety disorders (in particular social anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder), depression, low self-esteem and grief, along with women’s issues such as postnatal adjustment.
