Peter Ryan completed his Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast and has worked as a psychologist in the private sector on the Sunshine Coast for the past three years. Previously, Pete worked for over a decade as a health professional in various private and community settings. His roles included Occupational Therapist with school aged children, team leader supporting individuals with complex behaviour needs, and service coordinator at a non-government disability service provider.
As a clinical psychologist Pete is personable, patient and understanding. He treats people of all ages, and has extensive experience supporting people with behavioural difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, stress and addiction. Pete has a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, working primarily from a cognitive behavioural therapeutic (CBT) framework. Pete has a passion for seeing others grow to reach their full potential and lifestyle aspirations. He particularly enjoys working with men of all ages as they navigate relationship difficulties and connect with their identity and purpose.
