Shannon is a provisionally-registered psychologist who is undergoing her final year of Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Shannon has experience working with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of symptoms such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, low self-esteem, stress, anger, trauma and personality complexities.

Shannon utilises evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy to ensure clients receive interventions tailored to their clinical goals and individual needs.  Her strengths-based approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, collaborative and non-judgemental, and she aims to create a therapeutic space where clients feel validated and safe. Shannon is passionate about empowering clients to be reflective, mindful and compassionate towards themselves throughout the therapy process, while developing healthy coping skills to better manage their emotional health. Shannon recognises that while embracing our vulnerabilities can feel uncomfortable, it can also be the beginning of healing, restoration and hope.
