

Cecilie O’Toole graduated with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology in Norway in
2004. She has almost 20-years experience working in a variety of different settings, from
private practice to specialist youth and pain management facilities to hospital settings. She
has experience working with issues such as stress, anxiety and depression, self-harm and
suicidal behavior, along with personality and eating disorders.
Cecilie offers a range of evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT), Mindfulness Based Approaches, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
Therapy (EMDR) for trauma. Cecilie creates a welcoming, nurturing and safe space and
tailors treatment to meet the unique needs and goals of her clients.
Cecilie relocated from Norway to Australia in August 2022 with her Australian husband
and their three children. She’s recently joined Flourish Psychology and is currently
undertaking a transitional programme in order to work towards full registration as a clinical
psychologist in Australia.
