Karen McCulloch completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the Australian Catholic University. Karen has had experience treating adults and adolescents presenting with a range of psychological difficulties, including stress, anxiety and depression. She also has an interest in the relationship between pain and emotional wellbeing, having worked with adults experiencing chronic pain as a result of spinal injuries.
Karen is a warm, compassionate, and empathic practitioner who works collaboratively with clients to achieve meaningful changes in their psychological well-being. Karen enjoys working with teenagers and adults to build insight and understanding into life experiences and stressors, and to enhance their coping resources and resilience in a safe and caring environment. Karen’s therapeutic practice is evidence-based and drawn primarily from Cognitive Behavioural and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy frameworks, and is tailored individually to assist clients with their unique circumstances and needs.
