Jala completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She has subsequently completed additional training in Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR. Jala is experienced in the assessment and treatment of a range of psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and low self-esteem. She recognises that many people can appear to be functioning well on the surface while still experiencing overwhelm, self-criticism, disconnection, or recurring patterns that leave them feeling stuck.
Jala works with adults who are seeking greater clarity and direction in their lives, and are open to exploring their experiences, developing self-understanding, and finding practical ways to navigate challenges. Her approach focuses on supporting genuine and lasting change, empowering people to build resilience and lead meaningful lives. Jala values creating a warm, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic relationship, recognising that effective therapy is a shared process.
