

Michael is a registered psychologist and Clinical Registrar with a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of the Sunshine Coast (2025). He brings over a decade of experience across the mental health sector in both Australia and the United States, working in community, clinical, and specialist services.
Michael has supported diverse populations throughout his career, including young people, families, and adults experiencing complex and co-occurring challenges. He has held specialised roles supporting LGBTQIA+ communities and has extensive experience in family violence, substance use, housing instability, chronic health conditions, and community mental health.
In recent years, Michael has provided psychological services through Queensland Health, Headspace, and the Medicare Mental Health Centre, where he delivered evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Metacognitive Therapy.
Michael’s approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and client-centred, with a strong focus on fostering trust, transparency, and resilience. His professional values are grounded in compassion, inclusivity, and a belief in the importance of tailoring treatment plans to the unique needs of each client. While he is continuing to build his clinical skillsets, he is open to working with a wide range of presentations and populations.
